Rôle et responsabilités

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems. They will also be involved in system upgrades, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring optimal performance and security of the SAP environment.


1. **SAP System Implementation and Upgrades:** Lead the implementation and upgrade of SAP systems according to client specifications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

2. **Technical Support and Troubleshooting:** Provide expert level technical support and troubleshoot complex issues within the SAP Basis environment.

3. **System Monitoring and Performance Optimisation:** Monitor SAP systems to ensure peak performance, implement performance tuning, and conduct regular system health checks.

4. **Security Management:** Implement and manage SAP security settings and user administration, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal regulations.

5. **Backup and Recovery Planning:** Develop and maintain comprehensive data backup and recovery procedures, testing them regularly to ensure they meet the required service levels.

6. **Project Leadership and Mentoring:** Lead smaller SAP Basis projects, providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

7. **Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:** Maintain up-to-date documentation of all SAP systems, processes, and configurations. Conduct effective knowledge transfer to end-users and other IT teams.

8. **Stakeholder Communication:** Liaise with clients, understanding their needs and translating these into technical requirements. Regularly update stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant professional experience can also be considered in lieu of a degree.

2. Proven experience as a SAP Basis Consultant, preferably in a leadership role, with a strong background in SAP ECC, SAP HANA, and/or SAP S/4HANA.

3. In-depth understanding of SAP Basis administration, including system monitoring, performance tuning, security management, and backup/recovery procedures.

4. Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP Solution Manager, and other related technologies.

5. Familiarity with SAP HANA Administration and Database Management Systems is required.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically.

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

8. Project management skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resources to successfully complete specific goals and meet deadlines.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

 

10. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
