IBM Research Scientists are charting the future of Artificial Intelligence, creating breakthroughs in quantum computing, discovering how blockchain will reshape the enterprise, and much more. Join a team that is dedicated to applying science to some of today's most complex challenges, whether it's discovering a new way for doctors to help patients, teaming with environmentalists to clean up our waterways or enabling retailers to personalize customer service.
You will be responsible for working with a large team of IBM research scientists and harware developers to drive improvements in superconducting qubit performance. The focus of this role is to refine model-hardware correlation of superconducting qubit coherence and gate fidelity. Together with the technical leadership team, you would then steer researchefforts to the most promising directions to modify design, materials, and fabrication processes to meet the IBM Quantum roadmap deliverables.
