In your role, you may be responsible for:
Learning and adopting consulting skills and business knowledge to effectively integrate packaged technology into the client's business environment.
Translating client's business needs into business requirements and participating in the production of solutions to drive business value.
Working with clients to refine or design their business strategy while working in an agile collaborative environment.
An ADM-savvy Business Analyst is a technical domain functional consultant who possesses a strong working knowledge and experience with the SDLC. They excel in requirements gathering, analysis and documentation. They possess strong impact analysis and gap analysis skills and effectively manage stakeholders and users while facilitating requirements workshops. They master process and use case mapping, analyze business cases, and guide technical and supplier teams. The cornerstone of their skill set is exceptional communication and analytical skills, enabling them to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively, with the ability to serve as a liaison between the lines of business and the development team.
Requirement Analysis:
- Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and meetings.
- Analyze and refine requirements to ensure they are clear, actionable, and aligned with business objectives.
Process Evaluation:
- Recommend process enhancements that can be achieved through the ServiceNow platform.
Solution Design:
- Collaborate with technical teams to design ServiceNow solutions that meet business requirements.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans, including functional and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate that ServiceNow functionalities meet business requirements and address identified issues.
Training and Support:
- Provide training sessions for end-users and stakeholders to ensure proper usage and adoption of ServiceNow applications.
- Offer ongoing support and respond to inquiries or issues related to ServiceNow functionalities.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and recommend opportunities for enhancing ServiceNow functionalities and improving process efficiencies.
- Stay updated with the latest features and best practices of the ServiceNow platform to leverage new capabilities.
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and implementation of ServiceNow solutions.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
