Introduction

The Infrastructure AI Center of Excellence (COE) is a dedicated team of technical professionals focused on leveraging AI to empower IBM Infrastructure employees to be more effective in their jobs or improve customer's experience when they interact with IBM. We along with the AI Guild serves as a vehicle for knowledge sharing, collaboration, & skill development related to AI.

Our core objectives are VELOCITY and SAFETY. We want to help roll out AI projects as quickly as possible, while also ensuring that they are done safely and while operating within the guardrails for AI usage within IBM.

Rôle et responsabilités

We are seeking an experienced AI & Cloud Solutions Architect to join us. This technical leadership role focuses on designing scalable architectures, establishing technical standards, and providing architectural oversight for AI-based services. You will be instrumental in solving complex technical challenges, designing system architectures, and collaborating with development teams to implement robust AI solutions.

You will establish architectural principles and patterns while ensuring technical excellence across projects. Your efforts will ensure scalable, maintainable, and secure AI solutions for our customers. As an essential part of the technical leadership team, you will shape the technical vision while providing architectural guidance to development teams.

·       Design and establish architectural frameworks for AI and cloud-based solutions

·       Create and maintain technical roadmaps for AI implementations across the infrastructure

·       Provide architectural oversight and technical direction for complex AI projects

·       Define technical standards, patterns, and best practices for AI solution development

·       Evaluate and recommend new technologies and frameworks for AI implementations

·       Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectural compliance and technical excellence

·       Design scalable, secure, and maintainable AI solutions

·       Create detailed architecture documentation and technical specifications

·       Review and approve technical designs and implementation approaches

·       Identify and mitigate technical risks in AI solution architectures

Formation requise
Baccalauréat
Expertise professionnelle et technique requise

·       Minimum 7-12 years of experience in software development with focus on technical architecture

·       Deep expertise in designing AI solutions using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, LLMs, Generative AI

·       Strong background in cloud architecture patterns and microservices design

·       Extensive experience with distributed systems architecture and design patterns

·       Expert knowledge of backend technologies, including server-side languages (Node.js, Python, Java) and databases

·       Proven experience in designing RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures

·       Deep understanding of Cloud Technologies, Kubernetes, Kafka, Object Storage, and container technologies

·       Strong background in security architecture and compliance requirements

·       Experience in designing highly available and scalable cloud services

·       Expert knowledge of architectural patterns for AI model deployment and integration

·       Background in designing solutions for hybrid cloud environments

·       Experience with performance optimization and scalability design

·       Experience with infrastructure as code and automation

·       Knowledge of AI governance and responsible AI principles

·       Track record of successful large-scale AI solution implementations
