Data Engineer, IBM Corporation, Chicago, IL:
- Assemble large, complex datasets that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements to enhance data infrastructure scalability, optimize data delivery, and automate manual processes.
- Build and maintain infrastructure for efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from a variety of data sources.
- Curate and maintain data for metrics and evaluation to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure critical data points are captured and effectively utilized.
- Partner with data providers and backend API developers to normalize schemas and define data flows for persistence and analytics.
- Design, build, test, and automate data collection and pipelines for operational and analytical needs.
- Develop dashboards and other data visualization tools for data analytics.
- Implement and integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Use Agile methodologies to develop and iterate on software, ensure continuous delivery and improvement.
