Are you passionate about threat hunting and forensic investigations? Are you looking for a fast-paced environment where you can take part in global cyber incident response and cyber crisis management? Are you interested in joining an elite team of incident response consultants? If so, X-Force IR, IBM Security’s team of veteran incident responders, is looking for interns for the summer of 2026, and you may be the perfect fit.

  • Bringing together the world’s largest consulting practice with industry-leading incident response capabilities.
  • Minimizing the revenue loss of a security incident.
  • Applying IBM's global expertise and local capabilities through our unique global delivery network combined with our teams in over 170 countries.

  • Currently pursuing a university degree with a track-record of academic success
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills that enhance collaboration and relationship building, while also managing dynamic workloads in an agile environment
  • Have initiative and passion to actively seek new knowledge and improve skills while embracing a growth mindset to assimilate diverse viewpoints
Experiencia técnica y profesional preferida
  • Proficient Programing Skills
  • Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following Security Domains: Incident Response, Digital Forensics, Tabletop Exercises, Threat Hunting, Cloud Platforms
  • Experience in some aspect of incident response planning
  • Knowledge of forensic analysis, memory analysis, and/or malware analysis

 

These positions are anticipated to begin in summer 2026. We have positions open in Austin, TX.
