Responsibilities
- SiView Implementation
- Lead and participate in end - to - end implementation projects of IBM SiView in client environments. This includes initial discovery, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure that the SiView system is tailored to meet the specific manufacturing processes and business requirements of clients, with a focus on semiconductor manufacturing operations such as wafer fabrication, testing, and assembly.
- System Customization and Configuration
- Perform out - of - the - box configuration of IBM SiView to enable features like production scheduling, quality control, equipment integration, and material tracking.
- Customize the SiView system using appropriate development tools and techniques when standard functionality does not meet client needs. This may involve writing scripts, creating custom reports, and modifying workflows.
- Client Collaboration and Consultation
- Collaborate closely with clients' manufacturing, IT, and engineering teams to understand their business goals, objectives, and pain points. Analyze existing infrastructure and manufacturing processes to provide strategic recommendations for SiView implementation and optimization.
- Provide technical and business consulting services to clients, guiding them on best practices for using SiView to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- System Integration
- Integrate SiView with other enterprise systems such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), and automation equipment. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between systems to support end - to - end manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and work with cross - functional teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Training and Support
- Develop and deliver training programs for client personnel on using SiView effectively. This includes user training, administrator training, and advanced training on system customization and maintenance.
- Provide post - implementation support to clients, addressing system - related issues, performing system upgrades, and implementing enhancements based on client feedback and changing business requirements.
- Technical Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of hands - on experience with IBM SiView in a manufacturing or consulting environment.
- In - depth understanding of SiView features, capabilities, and its usage in semiconductor manufacturing. Familiarity with the gaps in the system and how to address them through customization or workarounds.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ (especially in Unix/AIX platforms), as well as experience with database systems like DB2. Knowledge of SQL, embedded SQL, and performance tuning is a plus.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes in industries such as semiconductor, LCD, or PCD. Familiarity with different manufacturing subsystems like equipment automation, transportation automation, statistical process control, etc.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to communicate complex technical information to non - technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
- Strong problem - solving and analytical skills. Capability to identify and resolve system - related issues, and to analyze business processes to recommend improvements.

- Educational Background
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical & electronic engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Certifications
- IBM - related certifications in SiView or other relevant technologies are highly preferred.
- Industry Experience
- Experience in implementing SiView in multiple client sites, especially in large - scale semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, such as SEMI standards.
