In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
- Requirements Elicitation & Clarification: Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and other stakeholders to collect detailed requirements. Provide ongoing clarification to development and test teams and participate in defect triage.
- SOR API & Data Analysis: Work with System of Record (SOR) teams to identify suitable system APIs for integration and analyze relevant data entities.
- Mapping Document Creation: Develop and maintain detailed data mapping documents between source systems/services and new BIAN-based services/APIs.
- PO Support (Functional Design & Specs): Assist the Product Owner in translating requirements into BIAN services, creating functional designs, updating domain data models, and developing API specifications.
- PO Support (Lifecycle & Backlog): Support the Product Owner with tasks related to API catalogue maintenance, backlog refinement, and preparation for Scrum ceremonies.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the squad and other project teams or business units for requirement details and dependencies. Collaborate with testers to ensure sufficient test coverage.
- Banking Experience: At least 4/5 years of experience working in the banking sector, preferably in a role that involves business analysis or a similar capacity.
- Business Analysis: Proven experience in business analysis, with a strong understanding of requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
- API Knowledge: Understanding of APIs, their integration, and data analysis.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum ceremonies and backlog management.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze and understand complex data entities and systems.
- BIAN Standards: Familiarity with BIAN (Banking Industry Architecture Network) standards and service domains.
- API Design: Knowledge of API design principles and API specification development (e.g., OpenAPI).
- Data Mapping: Experience with creating and maintaining data mapping documents.
- Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of programming concepts and data formats (e.g., JSON, XML).
- Certifications: Certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Agile methodologies are a plus.
