In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As an Application Developer at IBM, you'll work with clients to co-create solutions to major real-world challenges by using best practice technologies, tools, techniques, and products to translate system requirements into the design and development of customized systems. In your role, you may be responsible for:
- Working across the entire system architecture to design, develop, and support high quality, scalable products and interfaces for our clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define technical specifications for generative AI projects
- Employing IBM's Design Thinking to create products that provide a great user experience along with high performance, security, quality, and stability
- Working with a variety of relational databases (SQL, Postgres, DB2, MongoDB), operating systems (Linux, Windows, iOS, Android), and modern UI frameworks (Backbone.js, AngularJS, React, Ember.js, Bootstrap, and JQuery)
- Creating everything from mockups and UI components to algorithms and data structures as you deliver a viable product
Lead the foundation, implementation and scalability of the Command Center modernization considering the implementation of modern Observability and the transition to the product-oriented Command Center, promoting the integration between operations, SRE, observability, service management and agile squads.
Main Responsibilities:
Evaluate, suggest and implement a new service and operations management operating model for product and project oriented environments in Command Center.
Lead the creation of the Command Center evolution roadmap and ensure the execution of the transformation.
Act as the governance focal point between Tribes, Infrastructure, SREs and Service Management.
Evaluate, suggest and refine roles and processes (triage, isolation, escalation, coordination, war room).
Ensure that processes are aligned with the principles of the agile model, IDP, SRE and ITIL.
Suggest the implementation of automation processes, AIOps and observability in the Command Center;
Evaluate, suggest, define and supervise the indicators and targets (KPIs) of the new model.
Promote the evolution of L1 ticket opening sources and their adaptation to the new product-oriented model.
Leading the definition and implementation of the new escalation model between teams.
