Introducción

The position is to work on the DS8K Test Engineering department at Storage division.

Su función y responsabilidades

This role is responsible for working technically with development, services delivery, service planning, quality on early product development, serviceability and quality management. Continual improvement on warranty and/or post warranty service delivery, internally or externally for the products/parts they own.

 

This involves many facets of the supply chain such as: technology convergence, qualification, environmental compliance/supply chain social responsibility directives, warranty terms and conditions, support processes, quality improvements such as supplier commodity field performance, tooling, changes and delivery.

 

This position focuses on managing and developing technology and support roadmaps, communicating technical specifications and driving continuous quality improvement.

 

The individual in this role is responsible for a selected product/set of products, and drives actions to improve results for the product or IOT.

 

Focuses on Individual/Team/ Department Operational Objectives.

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, computing science or equivalent.

Communication / Negotiation:

  • Proficient / Intermediate English level is required. Meetings with development and people from other countries will be required.
  • Engaged as an independent professional.
  • Ability to articulate and compare alternatives approaches.
  • Negotiate with specified objectives.


Problem solving:

  • Recognize problems related to project objectives.
  • Creativity and judgment applied to professional technical, or operational problems.
  • Independently generates solutions, based on analytical skills & business knowledge.

Challenge the validity of given procedures and processes to enhance and improve or develop complementary adjustments /solutions.

Experiencia técnica y profesional preferida
  • Capable of understanding and implementing Cloud based technology tools.
  • Understanding artificial intelligence tools.
  • Proficient in a programming language, i.e. python, java.
