IBM Storage is looking for a Technical Product Manager to be part of the team that is responsible for IBM Storage Defender, Data Resiliency platform.
- Product managers are responsible for gathering customer and market requirements and distilling it into a strategic roadmap that they drive through execution, GTM and customer adoption.
- Successful candidates will have 3-5 years of Product management experience with a successful track record of shipping market leading products and deep domain expertise in data protection, data governance or data security.
Job Duties:
· Work with key stakeholders and a cross-functional team to define product requirements, manage new product releases, including all product launch deliverables
· Work closely with Development and UX teams on functional definition and delivery
- Work with sales and partners to strengthen the Defender Storage Protect offerings
- Participating in defining product strategy and roadmap management
- Develop and coordinate enablement assets for sales and partners
- Work with industry analysts, partners, and customers to gather and validate market requirements, understand pain points, address RFEs, and evangelizing the product roadmap and vision
Product Management Experience 3 years in Product Management.
Experience in Data Protection and Disaster Recovery
Experience in Data Security and Governance, Enterprise Storage
Experience working with UX and Development in an agile environment
· BS or MS in Engineering
· MBA preferred but not required
· Product Management experience 5 years
· Experience working with Managed Service providers, system integrators and ecosystem partners
· Experience shipping Enterprise software products to Fortune 50 companies, mid-market across all major verticals – financial, education, government, healthcare and retail
