In this role you will be responsible for go-to-market integration planning and execution through all phases of M&A acquisition integration to meet/exceed acquisition business case and synergy objectives. You will work collaboratively with teams across IBM and the acquired company, including Software business units, Sales (all routes to market), Global Process Owners, and Corporate Development to achieve integration objectives in compliance with Corporate Instructions.
You will provide go-to-market integration leadership throughout the acquisition lifecycle, including due diligence, and will lead the go-to-market effort during integration to maximize synergy value creation. You will be accountable for achieving critical integration milestones including Day 1 Readiness, transfer of employment, and integration completion. The M&A Go-To-Market Lead plays a crucial role in supporting our growth strategy by successfully driving the integration of acquired companies into IBM Software business units from a go-to-market point of view, while promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Experience in go-to-market execution (sales, partner, marketing, seller customer success management, professional services, seller incentives, etc).
- SaaS go-to-market execution experience highly valued.
- Experience in M&A, PE.
- Ability to engage with and influence senior executives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
- Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to lead, inspire and transform teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive data-driven decision-making.
