In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Su función y responsabilidades

We're looking for a Data Developer to join our dynamic cloud development team. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to the

The Data Developer will participate in the full software development lifecycle, focusing on designing, coding, developer testing, and deploying cloud-native applications using modern full-stack technologies. The ability to work with data throughout its lifecycle  from collection and storage to processing and analysis is key.

Data developers are responsible for

  • Designing  implementing and maintaining the systems and infrastructure needed to handle large volumes of data.
  • Work on integrating data from a variety of sources  ensuring that different data sets can be effectively combined and analysed.
  • Utilise programming languages such as Python  Java or SQL and tools such as Apache Spark or in this instance LakeFS  for data processing and management.
