As a Partner Technical Specialist, you will leverage deep technical expertise in Data & AI to shape and influence partner solutions, drive innovation, and create lasting, trusted relationships. You’ll work directly with clients and partners to integrate IBM’s AI, machine learning, data processing, and analytics technologies into their core offerings, ensuring they deliver value and scale. You’ll be at the forefront of transforming businesses with AI-driven solutions, collaborating with IBM’s technical experts to design and implement these solutions.

Experiencia profesional y técnica requerida

Experience with Data & AI Architectures:

  • Solid understanding of modern AI, machine learning, and data architectures, including IBM’s AI and data solutions (Watson, IBM Cloud Pak for Data, and other AI technologies).
  • Expertise in core AI and data technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, AI tools, machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and data management solutions (ETL, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses).

Consultative/Complex Technical Sales:

  • Experience in technical sales or pre-sales roles, with a focus on Data & AI solutions, able to translate business needs into innovative technical solutions.
  • Strong consultative skills, including architecture design, AI solution development, and technical presentation.

Industry & Business Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of industry trends and business implications for AI, machine learning, and data solutions.
  • Ability to connect IBM's Data & AI technologies with the specific needs of partner industries.

Continuous Learning & Innovation:

  • A growth mindset with a passion for staying ahead of the curve on emerging technologies in AI, machine learning, data, and analytics.
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and deliver transformative value through AI and data.

Relationship Building & Collaboration:

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and clients, driving long-term success
  • Ability to work across cross-functional teams, from technical experts to business leaders, to deliver successful solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.

Experiencia técnica y profesional preferida
  • Experience in AI or data-focused technical sales roles, or equivalent experience in solution architecture, data science, or AI solution development.
