In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

Solution Design & Development

·       Design and implement applications on SAP BTP using Cloud Foundry, Kyma, SAP CAP, and Node.js/Java.

·       Develop SAP extensions using SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Work Zone, and SAP UI5/Fiori.

·       Model and expose services using CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).

·       Build integrations using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh).

·       Implement event-driven architectures using SAP Event Mesh and asynchronous messaging.

Integration & Architecture

·       Integrate SAP BTP with SAP S/4HANA (on-premise and cloud), SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and non-SAP systems.

·       Leverage SAP BTP services such as Destination, XSUAA, Workflow Management, Business Rules.

·       Design secure architectures including authentication, authorization, and identity provisioning.

DevOps & Delivery

·       Implement CI/CD pipelines for BTP applications using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or SAP CI/CD.

·       Ensure performance tuning, monitoring, and lifecycle management via BTP Cockpit.

·       Follow Agile/DevOps methodologies and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Stakeholder Collaboration

·       Work with functional teams to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

·       Provide technical guidance, documentation, and best-practice recommendations.


·       Mentor junior developers and drive code reviews.

·       Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions.

·       Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role

·       Understand and design client-side and server-side architecture.

·       Write and integrate effective APIs

·       Write technical documentation.

·       Having understanding on SAP BTP, it's services and deployment approach 

·       Experience with Web Technologies SAPUI5, Fiori, Node.js is a must

·       Experience in SAP BTP CF, CAPM using Node.js, CDS is must

·       Experience in BTP build work zone standard/advance edition.

·       Strong SAP Landscape knowledge along with latest offerings from BTP

·       Experience developing desktop and mobile applications.

·       Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML)

·       Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks


·       Having hands on with SAP BTP service uses and deployment strategy.
