The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services to support enterprise applications and operations. This role ensures the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions.
This role will work with cross-functional teams to support cloud-based applications and services, automate deployments, and ensure system reliability and performance. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, strong scripting skills, and a solid understanding of DevOps practices and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
· Cloud Platform Expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP) – 3+ years
Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing services on at least one major cloud platform.
· Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) – 2+ years
Proven ability to automate infrastructure provisioning and management using IaC tools.
· Networking & Security in the Cloud – 3+ years
Solid knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, encryption, and compliance best practices.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting Tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.) – 2+ years
Ability to proactively monitor performance and quickly resolve issues in cloud environments.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal security clearance with the US government. (USCIS)
· Scripting & Automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) – 3+ years
Strong scripting skills for automating deployment, monitoring, and administrative tasks.
CI/CD & DevOps Tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) – 2+ years
