Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Research group is looking for motivated researchers interested in working at the intersection of storage, AI, and Quantum computing. The intern would be part of the team that would be building the next generation storage systems to address the needs of Agentic AI and Quantum computing workloads. We look for entrepreneurial candidates interested in conducting the full industrial research cycle - from ideation and design to prototyping the solution to demonstrate the benefits leading to scientific publication(s) and IP protection.
- Programming languages: Python, Go, Bash, C++
- Using, administering, and programming for Linux environment
- Tools and platforms: Kubernetes, Docker, Git
- Basic understanding of the storage stack in Linux
- Experience with system and storage performance measurement analysis
- Understanding of LLM technology, inference, and vLLM/LMCache in particular
- Designing and implementing distributed systems and storage
