As an Infrastructure Specialist at IBM, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our infrastructure, with a focus on supporting federal government clients. You'll design and implement automation tools using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, monitor system health with tools like Prometheus and Grafana, and enforce security standards using tools like CIS benchmarks and security scanning tools. You will collaborate closely with development teams and participate in incident response activities, ensuring compliance with federal regulations such as FedRAMP and FISMA. Strong Linux administration, experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud), and proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) are essential. 5+ years of hand-on experience with designing and building infrastructure and processes that support the software development and deployment lifecycle.
5+ years Automate and streamline operational processes using tools like Kubernetes and Docker
2+ years experience with architecting and migrating applications to the Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) cloud environments with a firm understanding of factors involved in being cloud native
3+ years design, develop, and implement secure and compliant cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure GOV Cloud, adhering to federal cloud security standards (FedRAMP) and NIST STIGs.
3+ years experience • Working experience with CI/CD pipelines, including technologies such as Jenkins and Github.
5+ Years RHEL
5+ years level code/scripting skills in Node.JS, Python, and/or Go
Recent US government clearance or background investigation - Candidates in DC Metro Area preferred
