Your role and responsibilities

As the Product Manager, your primary role will be to own the strategy and execution of IBM Z AIOps portfolio of products. This entails managing the entire product lifecycle and ensuring financial success. You’ll be at the forefront of leading products with open-source technologies like Ansible, Zowe and integration with other open-source technologies. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving this, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and various business units to achieve our objectives.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Proficiency in product management principles, including market analysis, product roadmap development, feature prioritization, and stakeholder management, is essential for effectively managing the testing portfolio.

Understanding of AI methodologies, software development lifecycle, quality assurance processes, and relevant technologies

Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, drive collaboration, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Excellent communication skills to articulate the value proposition of AIOps solutions, communicate product requirements, and effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to understand customer needs, gather feedback, and incorporate customer insights into the development and enhancement of AIOps solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Proficient project management skills to effectively plan, organize, and execute initiatives, manage resources, timelines, and budgets to achieve project goals.

Required technical and professional expertise

Required Technical and Professional Expertise with relevant experience of 14-20 years:

12+ years professional experience in product management principles, including market analysis, product roadmap development, feature prioritization, and stakeholder management, is essential for effectively managing the testing portfolio

Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent certification

In-depth knowledge and experience within a relevant design discipline (User Research, User-Experience Design, Visual Design, Interaction Design)

Understanding of AI methodologies, software development lifecycle, quality assurance processes, and relevant technologies

Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, drive collaboration, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Excellent communication skills to articulate the value proposition of AIOps solutions, communicate product requirements, and effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to understand customer needs, gather feedback, and incorporate customer insights into the development and enhancement of AIOps solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Candidates having Systems exposure and especially with IBM Z/Mainframe Systems are preferred
