Your role and responsibilities

As a Delivery Consultant – webMethods, you will partner with IBM clients and stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade webMethods integration solutions. You will apply your deep technical expertise and consultative skills to deliver high-impact results—solving real business problems in fast-paced environments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Solve Client Challenges Effectively: Understand client needs and develop solutions that deliver tangible business value through the design, development, integration, migration, and support of webMethods solutions.
  • Execute with Agility: Plan and lead agile implementation projects, including installation, provisioning, testing, production deployment, and day-two operations.
  • Conduct Technical Workshops: Lead and participate in solution workshops to explore architecture, best practices, and product capabilities.
  • Build Trusted Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels—from engineers to CxOs—while navigating discussions and resolving technical or business concerns.
  • Be a Self-Motivated Problem Solver: Demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness to identify root causes, explore solutions, and communicate results clearly and effectively.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with clients, IBM teams, and partners in a collaborative environment that values continuous learning and shared success.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise
  • 5+ years of experience implementing webMethods projects, including large-scale ERP integrations and B2B engagements
  • Hands-on experience with webMethods development and administration
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with containerization, including Kubernetes and webMethods container deployments
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision
  • Exposure to webMethods iPaaS solutions
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Experience with webMethods API Management
  • Strong communication skills with a track record of client-facing interactions and requirement gathering
  • Experience with Java or Node.js for extending or integrating solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to translate requirements into design using webMethods products
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
