Introduction
We're looking for a Business Development Executive (BDE) to assist in the planning and execution of long-term, cross-brand deals across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. This role is perfect for an individual who is eager to identify and help capitalize on emerging trends, technologies, and shifts in the competitive landscape to unlock growth opportunities. The individual will work very closely supporting both operational aspects of the BDE organisation, as well as development of business cases working with senior business leaders in the BDE organization.
Your role and responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a keen interest in operational activities and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in corporate development, venture capital, or private equity contexts.
  • Operational Support & Excellence You'll be instrumental in supporting the operational backbone of the business development team. This includes taking on tasks that ensure the smooth flow of our strategic initiatives. A key part of your role will involve working closely with senior business leaders, providing crucial support in building comprehensive business cases.

     
  • Strategic Deal Development & Execution: Proactively identify, evaluate, and pursue complex, long-term strategic partnerships and new opportunities across business units within the APAC portfolio. This includes developing robust business cases, financial models, and negotiation strategies to ensure successful realisation of deal value.
  • Business Case & Market Opportunity Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of emerging market trends, technological advancements, competitive intelligence, and regulatory changes within the APAC region to inform strategic initiatives and identify new growth avenues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal stakeholders across product, technology, finance, legal, and regional leadership teams to ensure seamless integration and successful execution of strategic deals. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including potential partners, investors, and industry leaders across APAC.

Required technical and professional expertise
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a role combining experiences working in corporate development or investment banking, entrepreneurial experiences with a significant focus on deal origination and execution.
  • Demonstrated success in working with C-level or senior stakeholders on commercial strategy, client adoption, or partnership implementation.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, structuring, and closing complex strategic partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of the APAC market landscape, including emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory environments.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional operational focus with the ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans and drive execution.
  • Highly entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-oriented approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
