The Developer will be responsible for software design, development, testing and deploy, along with production support activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong experience with software development along with previous experience on software configuration tools. The role requires ability to work under tight schedules and be able to handle different type of work based on priority.
Key responsibilities include:
• Envision, design, and build the Software infrastructure that keeps the solutions running.
• Challenge ideas, identify problems and create efficient solutions.
• Develop flexible, maintainable, and scalable application components.
• Collaborate with development peers and lead the way staying up to date with tools and technology trends.
• Min 3 years of hands-on development experience
• Knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, or other relevant areas and experience with ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and UI components preferred
• Proficiency in JavaScript, and experience with ServiceNow scripting languages, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Actions
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Server. Ability to design and implement integration solutions with external systems
• Familiarity with ServiceNow best practices for development, configuration, and customization, including the ServiceNow Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance from the US federal government.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a cross-functional team, collaborating with business analysts, product owners, and other developers.
• High attention to detail, ensuring that customizations and solutions are accurate, efficient, and aligned with business requirements.
