You will work closely with IBM Sales Representatives, Architects, Customer Success and Delivery specialists sharing your expertise and learning the most demanding technologies from others, and developing your skills in, Application Integration, API-led Integration, Kafka, iPaaS, Kubernetes and other domains.

 

As the Junior Technical Sales Specialist for IBM Automation you will be expected to:

  • Act as a deep solution and technical subject matter expert for IBM Automation software projects and leverage your experience to make them successful
  • Help clients, business partners, and IBM account teams to design and develop solutions that address clients’ business challenges and goals
  • Provide technical ownership to projects and responsible for technical accuracy and fit of the proposed solution
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, MVPs, demonstrations and Proof and Concepts
  • Initiate new opportunities, showcase IBM offerings that add value to clients’ business, and position your ideas with colleagues for an effective joint effort 
  • Coordinate pre-sales and delivery activities with internal and external service partners, and prepare technical assets for clients and the community, as necessary
  • Learn and sharpen your skills continuously by participating in enablement and courses

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred education
Associate's Degree/College Diploma
Required technical and professional expertise

 

·       Code development in Java, JavaScript, or other popular languages and frameworks

  • Experience working with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift platform

·       Experience with managed Kubernetes offerings like IBM Kubernetes Service (IKS), Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Amazon Elastic Container Service for Kubernetes (EKS), Google Kubernetes Service (GKE)

  • Good understanding of the following technologies: JSON, Swagger, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, Node.js,
  • Experience in presenting IT solutions (in front of customers, during technical meetings and on video calls) 
  • Experience in preparing and delivering software demos (in front of customers, during technical and business meetings and on video calls) 
  • Strong analytical and good interpersonal skills. Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Fluent in Dutch/French/English
  • Driving license

Preferably 2 years’ experience in similar role

 

Preferred technical and professional experience

 

  • Experience in Application Integration, API Management, Event-Driven Architectures

·       Experience working with IBM Integration (MQ, IIB, Datapower) or other solutions (e.g., MuleSoft, Oracle Fusion, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, etc.)

·       Skills around API Management platforms such as IBM API Connect, WSO2 API Management, Layer7 API Management, Apigee
