    About the Team
Our organization is responsible for developing and delivering enterprise solutions for the recovery, replication, and retention of VMs, databases, applications, file systems.
Do you have an eye for the perfect balance between form and function? Do you work well within a team and thrive in an open, flexible, and collaborative work environment?   We are seeking an experienced Web/UI Developer to join our highly motivated team to contribute to the development and enhancement of our UI interface that competes in enterprise solutions for the protection of hypervisors, applications, and cloud technologies.   As a core member of the UI team, you will provide guidance to and receive designs, mocks, and wireframes from our UX team.    You will work closely with back-end developers to implement deliverables efficiently.   You will have opportunities to share ideas for customer solutions and advocate for good practices.   The job requires interfacing with a variety of independent teams with different functions such as Architecture, Quality Assurance, and Design.   Your success will be measured by the quality of your contributions and how you leverage your technical expertise your eye on innovation and improving the overall experience of our customers.   


Your role and responsibilities

 

   Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Review technical requirements.
• Analyze requests for new features and enhancements to existing user interfaces.
• Implement, debug, and troubleshoot product user interfaces.
• Interface directly with UX experts and Visual Designers
• Interface directly with other core team members.
• Work with Quality Assurance team to support their efforts in product testing and address any issues reported.
• Work with customer-reported UI issues.
• Desire to learn and share knowledge and experience with others.


Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred education
Master's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

 

   • 1-3 years of experience in developing in Java Websphere / 2+ on large scale solutions
• 1-3 years with CSS, JavaScript, HTML and Typescript
• 1-3 years with database and Linux
• Knowledge and experience with consuming and advocating best practices of REST APIs.
• Experience with UI library integrations such as IBM Carbon Design System, Bootstrap-UI, or Semantic-UI
• Working experience with JAVA, NodeJS is added advantage.
• Knowledge in debugging and troubleshooting on Linux environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Maven, Git and Jenkins is preferred.
• Familiarity with Storage, data protection products, will be added advnatage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.


Preferred technical and professional experience

 

   • Experience and interest in UI/UX design and concepts
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as VMware, AWS, and IBM Cloud
