In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for motivated and tech passionate people to:

  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with business and technical members of the team
  • Relentless focus on quality and continuous improvement
  • Perform root cause analysis of reports issues
  • Development / evolutionary maintenance of the environment, performance, capability and availability
  • Assisting in defining technical requirements and developing solutions
  • Facilitating data integration, data conformity, data integrity and ensuring data structures are designed for flexibility to support future business needs and enhancements
Required education
High School Diploma/GED
Preferred education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

- Proven experience of at least 4 years in designing and building complex solutions based on Cloudera Platform

- Proven experience in supporting technical teams in identifying and solving issues, ensuring maintenance and improvement on Cloudera Platform Installation

- Experience on big data concepts, related standards and technical implications

- Advanced SQL programming, Hue/Hive, Spark Engine available languages (Scala, Python/PySpark, Java), NiFi

- Availability to travel is an additional mandatory prerequisite.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Cloudera certification:
- Cloudera Certified Associate (CCA) Spark and Hadoop Developer (CCA-175)

- Cloudera Certified Associate (CCA) Administrator (CCA-131)

- Agile mindset - ability to process changes of priorities and requests, ownership, critical thinking

- One of the following:

  At least 1 year of proven experience in banking or government industry projects

  Experience with Kubernetes/RHOS and private cloud context
