As an Account Manager, you will work with clients, project teams and Business Development Executives to achieve growth across the IBM Consulting solution areas for the Air Force account. You'll be expected to develop strong relationships with client leadership, will be accountable for delivering profitable revenue growth for the account and contract execution within the account, leveraging the full IBM Consulting portfolio and its ecosystem partners. You will demonstrate subject matter expertise as you build a robust pipeline and drive the highest standards of quality and delivery excellence.
• Demonstrated experience with Air Force and/or Space Force
• At least 10 years of domain project delivery experience with Air Force customer
• At least 5 years of experience in senior client relationship management, up to and including executive offices
• At least 5 years of experience in demonstrating knowledge of the Federal procurement process
• Ability to articulate technical solutions and value proposition to non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated experience in consultative selling and analytical problem-solving skills
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance
• Professional experience across additional departments within the Air Force
• Experience in strategy development and account planning activities that align customer and industry objectives with solution and revenue growth objectives
• Experience in delivery of technical or business focused presentations at industry conferences
• Experience working across matrixed organizations to collaborate with leaders across internal and external organizations for long-term relationship success
• Demonstrated community leadership in capturing, developing and sharing industry and domain knowledge with team members to raise competencies
• Experience at one of the Air Force Acquisition Centers
• Demonstrated ability to build a diverse portfolio of delivery programs, expansion opportunities and new program opportunities with your client to cultivate a longer-term growth focus
