As a DevOps Engineering Leader for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and proactively monitoring AEM as a Platform to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to drive innovation.

Your role and responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineering Leader for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and proactively monitoring AEM as a Platform to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to drive innovation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Full Deployment Stack Ownership: Oversee Jenkins, OSE container registry, Kubernetes, and container/pod operations.
  • AEM Deployment & Management: Lead AEM (6.5 and AEM Cloud) deployments, including installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Kubernetes Infrastructure: Review, recommend, and optimize Kubernetes infrastructure, ensuring robust hosted and cloud-native configurations (e.g., EKS, AKS).
  • Proactive Monitoring: Implement and utilize monitoring tools to detect issues, optimize systems, and ensure platform health.
  • Networking & Load Balancing: Troubleshoot overlay networks for pod communications and manage CIS Load Balancer configurations in multi-tenant environments.
  • Automation & Optimization: Automate recurring tasks, improve velocity and quality, and enhance long-term infrastructure solutions.
  • CDN Management: Configure and maintain CDN setups, such as Akamai.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to integrate services into Kubernetes/container infrastructure.
  • Security: Follow and implement security policies to safeguard customers and ensure compliance.
  • Incident Resolution: Identify root causes of issues, develop long-term fixes, and resolve escalated incidents efficiently.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) 6.5 and AEM Cloud deployments including install, configure, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair.
  • Experience in configuring and utilizing monitoring and alerting tools to detect issues and optimize systems. Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins deployments and operations for containerized micro services at an enterprise scale. 
  • Scripting to automate infrastructure and operational processes.
    Application management and providing high availability solutions using clustering, failover or other methods. Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision making skills. Ability to manage and deliver multiple project phases at the same time. Strong analytical and organizational skills. 
  • Hands-on experience with Jira. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
