Are you passionate about building robust integration solutions that power enterprise systems? We are seeking a skilled WebMethods Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in WebMethods and related technologies to design, develop, and maintain scalable integration solutions that support mission-critical business processes.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a WebMethods Developer, you will:

  • Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using the WebMethods software suite.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain REST/SOAP web services and ensure seamless communication between systems.
  • Utilize ESB and SOA principles to build scalable and maintainable integration architectures.
  • Write clean, efficient code using Java, XML, XSLT, and XPath.
  • Manage source code using version control systems like Git.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with a focus on performance and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a WebMethods Developer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in the WebMethods software suite.
  • Solid understanding of Java, XML, XSLT, and XPath.
  • Experience with ESB, SOA, and REST/SOAP web services.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid integration models.
  • Certification in WebMethods or related technologies.
  • Exposure to enterprise-level integration projects across diverse industries.
