Our Platform Engineering Services team is expanding, and we're looking for a skilled Platform Engineer with deep expertise in OpenShift and the Kubernetes ecosystem. You'll play a crucial role in building, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud-native platforms, enabling our development teams to innovate faster and more reliably.
1. Platform Design & Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms, including core components, networking, storage, and security configurations.
2. Automation & IaC Development: Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to automate platform provisioning, configuration, and management across hybrid cloud environments.
3. CI/CD Pipeline Enablement: Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish robust CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless and automated deployment of applications to Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.
4. Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for platform-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance of critical services.
5. Mentorship & Best Practices: Act as a subject matter expert, sharing knowledge and advocating for cloud-native best practices, performance optimization, and security standards within the organization.
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or related roles, with proven ability to work independently on end-to-end assignments. 
- Hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms, including networking, storage, and security. 
- Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to automate provisioning, configuration, and management in hybrid cloud environments. 
- Experience in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD, Tekton) for application deployment on Kubernetes/OpenShift. 
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to act as a subject matter expert, mentoring teams and promoting cloud-native best practices and security standards. 
1. Experience with monitoring and logging stacks in a Kubernetes environment (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK stack, Ansible, Terraform, Vault).
2. Understanding of GitOps principles and tools (e.g., Argo CD, Flux CD) for continuous delivery.
3. Demonstrated ability to create and deliver engaging presentations to diverse stakeholders, from engineers to senior leadership.
