Senior Managing Consultant, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY, and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted):
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problem statements and act as a liaison between business and IT teams to define the product.
- Develop business requirements, processes, data models, and workflows.
- Analyze user needs, objectives, and requirements.
- Define information management strategy and roadmap.
- Analyze the current infrastructure and provide a gap assessment report.
- Customize and implement Industry Data Warehouse Models such as Insurance Information Warehouse (IIW) and Banking Data Warehouse (BDW) to comply with clients’ business needs.
- Prepare high-level design documents and low-level design documents.
- Analyze legacy system data from each of the business applications and create an underlying data model based on industry models.
- Perform data modelling work by defining denormalized and flattened structures that can be consumed by all and easy to migrate to cloud databases.
- Utilize business requirements analysis, data analytics, data integration, database management, technical solution design and architecture, and technology team management.
Required: Bachelor’s degree (employer will accept an Associate’s degree plus two (2) years of IT experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree) and two (2) years of experience as a Managing Consultant or related.
