In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
- Lead the successful implementation of Brazil’s Tax Reform project, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and internal policies;
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Tax, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to gather, document, and align on business requirements;
- Provide project leadership, guiding cross-functional teams through design, validation, testing, and deployment phases;
- Ensure readiness for go-live, including testing support, training input, and post-deployment stabilization activities;
- Act as a bridge between business and IT, promoting clarity, accountability, and end-to-end delivery excellence;
- Drive effective stakeholder communication, including status updates, risk management, and change control;
- Support the implementation of an Import Process Control system, ensuring integration with existing systems and alignment with customs, tax, and operational processes;
- Contribute to S/4HANA migration testing, including functional validation and defect resolution support, if required by the program;
- Coordinate implementation of NFE/GRC changes and SAP technical notes, typically occurring 1–2 times per year, requiring dedicated planning and execution efforts;
- Assess the impact of regulatory changes, such as the transition of Tax ID/CNPJ formats from numeric to alphanumeric, on relevant systems and processes;
- Support system lifecycle management within IT Finance and Supply Chain, working with subject matter experts to mitigate risks related to obsolescence and security vulnerabilities.
- Proven experience leading complex regulatory or tax-related programs, ideally in Brazil or LATAM regions.
- Deep understanding of Brazilian tax laws and fiscal processes, including ICMS, IPI, and Nota Fiscal handling.
- Strong expertise in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA, especially in FI, MM, SD, or localization functionalities.
- Hands-on experience with import and customs-related processes, and systems supporting them.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed business analysis and perform robust fit/gap assessments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of aligning diverse global teams;
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with SAP GRC tools in the Brazilian context;
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA programs, including testing, cutover, and hypercare phases;
- Knowledge of global supply chain or import/export compliance processes;
- Certification in project management (PMP, Agile/Scrum, or Prince2).
