In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a SAP Package Consultant at IBM, you will help to assist clients in the selection, implementation, and production support of application packaged solutions to meet client needs. Leveraging a growth mindset, you're ready and willing to deliver business value, wherever needed.  In your role, you may be responsible for: 

  • Assisting clients in selection, implementation, and support of packages
  • Make strategic recommendations and leverage business knowledge to drive solutions for clients and their management  
  • Run or support workshops, meetings, and stakeholder interviews
  • Develop process maps to understand As-Is and To-Be scenarios
  • Use Design Thinking to help solve client's challenges
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred education
Master's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle implementation and support projects for SAP/Hana FIN FI module
  • Experience in SAP Finance submodules and other components
  • Experience in SAP HANA or S/4 HANA is highly preferred
  • At least 3-5 full-cycle implementation and roll-out projects is preferred
  • Has experience in preparing and writing of docs eq. Functional/Technical specification documents
  • Knowledgeable in using various tools eq MS Office, Ticketing apps, Teams, Sharepoint and other essentials
  • Experience in interacting directly with client(s)
  • With good communication and presentation skills 
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Experience and familiarity in SAP VIM is a plus
  • Experience and familiarity in SAP BRIM is a plus
  • Experience in preparing RFP is an advantage
  • SAP Certification in related field
  • Experience in Healthcare industry is a plus
