We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP developer to join our dynamic development team. As a SAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems using the latest SAP technologies. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams.

CIO India is hiring a senior S/4 HANA ABAP Developer. In this role you will be support IBM CIO Global operations as a Software developer supporting IBM Infrsturucture Manufacturing Business.

Your role and responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and support SAP ABAP code following software best practices and methodologies.
  • Create technical specifications based on conceptual design and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with functional analysts and business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in software development lifecycle activities, including design, code reviews, testing, and post-deployment support.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues in existing systems and optimize programs for maximum efficiency and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with latest ABAP and SAP technologies and trends and recommend improvements or modifications to existing systems as appropriate.

  • 10+ years of SAP ABAP Application development
  • Atleast one project experience working in S/4 HANA migration.
  • Strong technical skills in programming.
  • Strong understanding of development of WRICEF objects in SAP.
  • Understand the upgrade methodologies to S/4 HANA from ABAP expertise
  • Strong Analytic and communication skills
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Architectural knowledge on developing cross functional applications in ABAP and beyond
  • Understanding of ODATA, REST API services.
  • Experience in working in manufacturing business domain
  • Functional experience in one of SAP Modules - MM/SD/PP/FI
