Introduction

We are seeking a QA  lead for IBM Cloud VPC team . This individual will play a crucial role in the cloud software development process, have a deeper understanding and experience in designing and implementing test strategies,  in leading testing effort with the Product Development team, onshore/ offshore QA team. resulting in higher quality software products.

Your role and responsibilities

 

  • Develop in depth functionality and stability  automatic tests that will map  customer use cases
  • Research the right set of workloads and benchmarks 
  • Develop automated test scenarios and environments for End2End automatic evaluation
  • Collect test evidence measurements to ensure system functionality, stability and scalability
  • Designing and implementing automation tools and frameworks for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
  • Monitoring and managing infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry best practices and organizational policies.
  • Continuously improving processes and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred education
Master's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
  • Skilled in test automation, debugging, and analytical skills 
  • Experience with testing tools and frameworks, and work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborating with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle.
  • Hands-on with programming languages such as Python
  • Good understanding of Cloud , development and deployment methodologies in cloud, Devops,CI/CD
  • Working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban or equivalent. Jira, Github
  • Strong leadership and communication skills  
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • IBM Cloud especially VPC , CI/CD , Quality and automation
  • Experience in leveraging/development/test of various cloud services.
  • Experience of working with a broad spectrum of technology solutions including Cloud, Data and AI
