Your role and responsibilities
  • An SAP PP Consultant you would be responsible for supporting IBM clients in Production Planning module.
  • Handle day-to-day support tickets related to SAP Production Planning (PP) module.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional and configuration issues related to PP area.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand reported problems and provide timely resolutions.
  • Make minor enhancements or configuration changes based on change requests.
  • Test configuration changes (unit test, integration test) and support users during UAT.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring problems and recommend process/system improvements.
  • Work closely with other functional consultants (e.g., MM, SD, QM, PM) for integrated issues.
  • Provide  training to  end-users on frequent issues or new features.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
  • 1 to 3 years hands on experience as SAP PP Consultant
  • Strong knowledge of core SAP PP functionality (MRP, Order Management, BOMs, etc.).
  • Experience in handling SAP support tickets (e.g., via ServiceNow, Remedy, or Solution Manager).
  • Basic debugging or working knowledge of ABAP (to work with technical team) is helpful.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tickets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , computer science or other related fields.
  • Excellent English skills ( written and spoken).
  • Experience in support environment.
  • Certified SAP PP is highly recommended.
