In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

Profissional com experiência avançada na administração e configuração de ambientes IBM MQ, incluindo recursos de alta disponibilidade com RDQM (Replicated Data Queue Manager). Responsável por garantir comunicação eficiente entre aplicações, integridade dos dados e continuidade operacional em ambientes críticos.


1. Administração de Queue Managers e Objetos

• Função: Criar, modificar e excluir queue managers, objetos associados, filas, canais e listeners;

• Tecnologias e Comandos:

    • crtmqm, dltmqm para criação e remoção de queue managers do tipo RDQM;

    • Configuração de canais e listeners para comunicação entre queue managers.


2. Alta Disponibilidade com RDQM

• Função: Configurar e gerenciar ambientes de alta disponibilidade utilizando RDQM;

• Tecnologias:

    • Conhecimento do funcionamento do sistema de três nós do RDQM e da lógica de quórum;

    • Experiência com drbdpool volume group e mecanismos de replicação;

    • Validação e monitoramento do status do grupo HA e queue managers com rdqmstatus.


3. Diagnóstico e Logs

• Função: Diagnosticar e resolver problemas utilizando logs e comandos de controle do MQ;

• Tecnologias:

    • Análise de MQ logs;

    • Uso de comandos administrativos para troubleshooting.


4. Integração com Aplicações Java

• Função: Configurar objetos JNDI para integração com aplicações Java;

• Tecnologias:

 • JNDI (Java Naming and Directory Interface)

    • File System context: com.sun.jndi.fscontext.RefFSContextFactory;

    • Ferramenta JMSAdmin para criação e configuração de objetos JNDI (ex.: queue connection factories e destinations);

    • Gerenciamento do arquivo .bindings para conexão de aplicações Java.


5. Modos de Conexão

• Função: Garantir a configuração correta dos modos de conexão;

• Conceitos:

    • Bindings mode: Conexões locais de alta performance via memória compartilhada;

    • Client mode: Conexões remotas via TCP/IP.


6. Habilidades Complementares

• Forte capacidade de documentação técnica e comunicação clara;

• Experiência em ambientes críticos com foco em alta disponibilidade, resiliência e segurança.

Requisitos Imprescindiveis:

  • Instalação, configuração e administração de Queue Managers, Queues, Channels e Listener;
  • Conhecimento em alta disponibilidade (clusters MQ, multi-instance queue managers);
  • Domínio de ambientes Linux/Unix e Windows Server para administração do MQ;
  • Configuração de TLS/SSL, certificados digitais e políticas de segurança no MQ;
  • Controle de acesso e Channel Authentication Records;
  • Experiência com monitoramento de filas e canais, análise de logs e ajuste de performance;
  • Uso de ferramentas como MQ Explorer e comandos MQSC.
