As a Product Manager at IBM Cloud, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the engagements with our Independent Software Vendor (ISV) partner ecosystem. This position is critical as you will manage product-level relationships and establish joint innovation roadmaps with our ISV partners
· Your responsibilities will include collaborating on removing frictions from our joint customer journeys, ensuring a seamless integration of our services with those of our partners
· You will oversee the entire product lifecycle of our partners' services, as well as for any infrastructure components that facilitate our customers' interactions with both our product and the partner products
· Additionally, you will act as the champion for our ISV partners within the Product Management organization, advocating for their needs and ensuring their voices are heard in our strategic planning
· In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, royalty management, cloud platform, marketing, sales and our field teams,
· You will also collaborate with external partners, prospects, and customers to gather feedback and insights that will enhance product-market fit and strengthen IBM Cloud value proposition
· You will work with the ISVs to ensure that the proper contracts are implemented between them and IBM Cloud and that the proper remuneration system is in place to drive IBM Cloud revenues and ISV royalty payments
· Your ability to synthesize this information will be crucial in driving product decisions and ensuring that our offerings align with market needs and customer expectations
- Partner/Ecosystem Management: Experience working with external partners, building strong relationships, driving collaborative initiatives and ecosystem operations.
- Product Management: Proven experience in managing product lifecycles, from ideation to launch and beyond, preferably within a cloud or SaaS environment.
- Technical Acumen: Understanding of cloud computing concepts, APIs, and integration technologies. Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
- Contracting and Financials: Familiarity with contract negotiation, royalty management, and financial modeling related to partnerships.
- IBM Cloud Experience: Specific knowledge of IBM Cloud offerings, services, and ecosystem.
- ISV Partnership Experience: Direct experience working with Independent Software Vendors, understanding their business models and needs.
- Cloud Platform Knowledge: In-depth understanding of any cloud platforms and their integration capabilities.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in using data analytics tools to gather insights, measure performance, and inform product decisions.
