We're seeking highly motivated and talented Data Scientists to join our team as interns. As a Data Scientist Intern at IBM, you'll work on real-world projects that drive business outcomes and contribute to the development of AI, machine learning, and data analytics solutions. In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Data Science Projects
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions
* Work on data analysis, machine learning, and AI projects to drive business outcomes
* Develop and deploy models using various machine learning algorithms and techniques
* Interpret results, provide insights, and communicate findings to stakeholders
Data Analysis and Visualization
* Collect, process, and analyze large datasets
* Develop data visualizations to communicate insights and findings
* Use statistical and data analysis techniques to identify trends and patterns
Collaboration and Communication
* Work closely with data engineers, software developers, and product managers to integrate data science solutions
* Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, best practices, and ideas.
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* Solid understanding of SQL and Python—strong analytical and algorithmic thinking is highly valued.
* Familiarity with database structures and design principles.
* Eagerness to learn and grow within the field of data engineering and data integration.
* Basic understanding of data modeling concepts such as normalization.
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for working with data.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
