The Blue Studio is IBM’s internal creative team, responsible for the
strategic evolution and expression of the IBM brand across every
experience and encounter, internally and externally. The Blue Studio is part
of IBM’s Marketing function and supports all of IBM, horizontally, across all
businesses, and vertically, from the top of the funnel to the bottom. The
work crosses nearly every category of output: research and strategy,
communications and content development, symbology and systems, digital
and physical experiences, and tools and training. Our goal is to maintain
modernity, sophistication, and tangibility, and to promote understanding of
the IBM brand in the world.
In the Blue Studio, your words matter. Here, you’ll become part of a
creative, collaborative team, partnering with world-class strategists,
designers, producers and creative directors to tell compelling stories about
the technologies changing our world and the people who put them to work. Your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Distill complex concepts into sharp headlines that capture attention and drive engagement
- Craft scripted dialogue and voiceover that can inspire, elevate and
explain
- Dive deeper into topics with additional surround materials, including
digital ads, blogs, emails, video scripts, white papers and more
- Act as storyteller and steward of the brand, infusing IBM’s brand
voice, style, and messaging into every deliverable
4+ years marketing or advertising writing (agency or in-house)
Superior English language writing skills with a keen eye for detail
(diction, syntax and grammar)
Portfolio of work demonstrating success in primary responsibilities for
the role
History of pitching ideas and presenting work to creative directors,
partners and stakeholders
Hiring manager and Recruiter should collaborate to create the relevant verbiage.
