Who you are
* You would be responsible to forge strong working relationships with the Client & IBM Client Engineering teams, helping establish the IBM team as a trusted partner.
* During the pre-sales process, you will partner with the IBM Client Engineering and the client teams to define issues and co create solutions that leverage IBM offerings to solve the client’s business challenges.
* You will build/create and assesses business cases to ensure viability (level of effort, speed of implementation, quality of available data)
* You will shares insights gained from cross-client engagements and bring forward value based opportunities.
* Leveraging the IBM Client Engineering & Services communities to share and learn from best practices would be an essential agenda in this role What you will do
* Support business value framing, value realization, and orchestration practices of the Client Engineering team
* Develop business cases for follow-on work
* Frame changes to operating models and workflow requirements from MVS
* Embed Services offerings into Client Engineering work
· Government and public sector stakeholder engagement: Work closely with ministries to assist in their digital transformation efforts and to identify their technology pain points and functional requirements and translate them into actionable solution architectures. Present and articulate solution proposals and IBM’s value proposition to senior officials and decision-makers.
· Solution architecture design: Architect end-to-end solutions by integrating key pillars of software stack such as data, automation, hybrid cloud and transaction processing along with AI into cohesive, ministry-ready solutions. Identify architectural impact, including impacted systems, integrations, dependencies, tools, technical requirements, issues & risks relevant to the project. Translate strategy into detailed requirements for PoC construction. Work closely with the PoC team to demonstrate PoCs successfully to the client and list the technical specifications for the client which would go into the creation of RFQs/ RFPs.
· ‘AS IS - TO BE’ roadmap design: Analyze current-state architectures and define future-state blueprints using the 4 product pillars.
· Cross-Functional leadership: Work collaboratively with sales, pre-sales, client engineering teams to design and propose tailored solutions for government use cases.
- Minimum 10+ years of industry experience
- Expertise in financial modelling, business case evaluations, business and operations strategy
- Deep knowledge of Services offerings and demonstrated skill in articulating the value proposition in the client context
- Fundamentals of project management and risk management to support MVS delivery
- Deep knowledge and skills in strategic and financial analysis.
- Demonstrated skill in developing technical value propositions, pro-forma financial business cases and impactful client proposals.
- Applied experience in guiding cloud native development & architectures to business outcomes.
· Tech Evangelism ownership: Be a key evangelist of emerging tech like GenAI, Automation portfolio like Observability, RPA, Application & IT modernization , Understanding of infrastructure layer + LLM, Low/No-Code Dev, and Observability within Govt. setups.

- Strong experience in architecting solutions for government/public sector clients
