Red Hat is seeking an experienced OEM Partner Account Manager to drive strategic partnerships with global OEM partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale partnerships, executive engagement, and ecosystem growth within the software industry, preferably with exposure to open-source technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership Management: Own and nurture relationships with key OEM partners to drive joint business growth and market expansion.
- Executive Engagement: Build and maintain strong C-level relationships with partners to align on business objectives and co-create strategic initiatives.
- Business Growth: Identify and execute revenue-generating opportunities through joint GTM (Go-To-Market) strategies, co-selling, and demand generation.
- Ecosystem & Alliance Strategy: Develop and implement partner strategies to expand Red Hat’s footprint within the OEM ecosystem.
- Open Source & Software Expertise: Leverage deep understanding of software business models, open-source dynamics, and hybrid cloud technologies to drive partner success.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and alliances teams to ensure partner success and alignment with Red Hat’s objectives.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on partner performance, ensuring KPIs and revenue targets are met.
- 6–12 years of experience in partner management, alliances, or business development, preferably in enterprise software, cloud, or open-source technology.
- Proven track record of managing large global partnerships (OEMs, ISVs, hyperscalers, or system integrators).
- Strong executive presence with experience engaging with C-level stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of software business models, open-source ecosystems, and cloud technologies.
- Growth mindset with a focus on driving revenue and expanding market reach.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience in alliance strategy, joint GTM planning, and co-selling motions
- Familiarity with Red Hat’s portfolio (OpenShift, RHEL, Ansible, etc.) or competitive technologies.
- Experience in hybrid cloud, Kubernetes, and enterprise software solutions
- Ability to navigate complex partner landscapes and drive multi-stakeholder initiatives.
