This role will be responsible for growing our audience of subscribers to our portfolio of newsletters (ibm.com/subscribe). You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing audience growth strategies — creating comprehensive plans to attract new subscribers, partnering with teams across IBM in order to implement tactics via social media promotion, website promotion, and content marketing strategies to incentivize sign-ups.
Responsibilities:
- Implement promotional digital tactics across our inbound footprint / thought leadership hub (ibm.com/think) as well as ibm.com/new
- Work with other web strategists to implement promotional tactics across other key ibm.com webpages
- Create strong relationships and work cross-functionally with key stakeholders on other IBM marketing teams (e.g. email marketing, social media, paid media, influencers, etc.)
- Consider ways to programmatically embed subscription into other channels like email/outbound tactics
- Partner with URX team to ensure a seamless sign-up experience
- Develop A/B testing strategy and create a testing & personalization backlog
- Utilize tools in order to gather subscriber data and utilize that data in order to understand what tactics perform best / optimize your strategy moving forward
- Responsible for maintaining and optimizing the ibm.com/subscribe web page
- Experience working in digital marketing
- Ability to work cross-functionally, with preference for those who have experience in other channels (e.g. social media, email marketing, etc.)
- Proficiency in analyzing data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions (you should be able to describe instances in which you have utilized this skillset)
- Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to teamwork. You have a volunteer spirit with a 'we succeed as a team' attitude.
- Creative thinking: Ability to develop innovative strategies to capture audience attention.
- Good communication skills within a project, ensuring appropriate hand-off to the next person in workflow.
- Have worked in a CMS before, preferably Adobe Experience Manager.
