We are looking for technical support engineer who is self-starter, quick learner, and who enjoy working in a challenging, fast paced environment. This position will be part of a worldwide team responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting software problems within IBM software support organization, supporting IBM software on multiple operating systems, virtual, and cloud.
IBM Technical Support teams use the Cognitive Support Platform and Salesforce to assist with issues raised by our worldwide clients. We have an initiative this year to integrate the Salesforce platform with Slack Bots by using Slack and Salesforce APIs. It intends to develop a Slack app using Bolt for JavaScript and integrate with the Web Support Portal on the Salesforce Platform, thus IBM Technical Support teams could take advantage of having a SlackBot automatically monitor the status of cases which would help us improve our productivity managing critical issues promptly.

Understands the business objectives, support processes, workflow in support and what we focus on support to provide seamless communication and technical support, deliver the best technical support possible and exceed client's expectations.
To be able to gain knowledge on IBM Cloud and AI technique including Watson.ai, AI LLM module and WCA ( Watson Code Assistance ) etc.
Learns technical skill in terms of debugging, diagnostic and performance tuning’s perspectives on IBM Cloud and AI related products mostly likely needed on "Container" platforms.
Improves product serviceability by understanding the current design of the product, examining product features/designs etc. and then make suggestions.
Maintains and enhances the current assets we have implemented for example - SlackBot and product diagnose code/tool, to accomplish this you might need to be familiar with Python, Java, Node.js and JavaScript etc.
Practices linux shell scripting and regular expression etc. to enhance the debug module/tools accordingly.
English language skills including read, write and speak
Experience in Linux operating system
Experience in Javascript(essential), Python, MySQL(preferred)
Knowledge/experience of any Cloud platform
Knowledge of 3-tier web service
VMware EXSi
Chat bot and Linux VM experience
Line bot exp, or Discord bot exp.
Slack bot exp. with slack api - event api, especially Socket mode knowledge
