Looking for a manager to lead the Data & AI Upgrade SWAT team in IBM. The team’s mission is to assist clients with upgrading their deployment of Cloud Pak for Data by working in partnership with IBM CSM (Client Success Manager) and, where applicable, Expert Labs, IBM Consulting, or other teams. The objective is to ensure smooth upgrade for clients through high quality of planning and execution.
Leading the Upgrade SWAT team globally and engage with customers and IBM client teams to plan the upgrade activities based on customer requirements and deliver the upgrade cases with high quality through effective tracking, internal and customer collaboration.
Communicating with product development and support teams regularly about the challenges and issues in customer upgrades, providing feedback to help improve product quality and serviceability.
Cultivating innovation culture in the team, leveraging the AI and automation technologies to build tools for improving the productivity on product upgrade and migration.
Building a high performance team by developing talents through career conversation and skill development.
Willing to take on the role’s responsibilities with solid concept and sense of how to address customer challenges.
At least 5 years of experience in product development or support, including 3+ years of experience in managing a global team.
Good skills and expertise on Data and AI, Cloud technologies. Experience with Cloud Pak for Data product development or support would be preferred.
Strong leadership, communication and project management skills. Good experience with customer engagement and support.
An ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment is a must. Resilient under pressure, high energy levels and positive attitude are crucial. Independent decision making and problem solving skills are a must.
Strong learning skills with new technologies and tools.
