Introduction
IBM is seeking a highly motivated individual with procurement outsourcing and consulting experience for a Sourcing Delivery Manager role. In the role, you will be managing and leading a client-facing Strategic Sourcing team in the delivery of IBM Procurement Outsourcing Services for one or more of our external client accounts. The Sourcing Delivery Manager will also be responsible for the career development and performance management of direct reports on their sourcing team, and will have accountability for cost savings commitments to one or more of our clients.· Candidate should exhibit the IBM Growth Behaviors in everything they do by being Growth Minded (curious and open to feedback, experimentation, learning from everyone, and focusing on solutions over problems), Outcome Focused (testing the status quo and using a customer-centered and nimble approach), and Courageous (thinking independently, taking risks, and making critical decisions in tough situations)
· Provide guidance and oversight to our category managers and tactical buyers with the development and execution of category strategies, wave plans, and savings commitments to our client
· Maintain a project tracker and management system that allows you to meet the account’s contract deliverables. Ensure you can proactively manage your team’s work, prioritize where/when needed, and pivot to meet client fluctuations by utilizing your management system and data to influence decisions
· Active Project Management of the sourcing / tactical buying scope, costs, staffing, risks, audit, and issue resolution
· Manage client obligations, stakeholder buy-in, governance, escalations, and process transformation
· Identify, own, deliver, and report on contractually obligated service level agreements related to cost savings
· Support practice growth through account expansion (i.e., introduction of additional scope areas within S2P – other categories, emerging technologies, innovations within base scope to unlock value)

- Must have exceptional client-facing and consultative skills and experience
- Experience in category management and strategic sourcing, tactical buying, contracting, supplier relationship management, and with major Source-2-Pay applications. Extensive sourcing experience is required in at least two indirect spend categories
- High level of empathy, integrity, decisiveness, and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive and complex personnel and business decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to build consensus with senior-level leaders
- Proactivity in managing competing priorities and urgent deadlines with poise and professionalism
- Experience recruiting, mentoring, and training employees at varying levels of professional experience
- Attention to detail and organizational skills; strong integrity and compliance focus
- Candidates must be willing and able to travel to client locations based on business requirements
- Candidate will be required to work in an IBM or client office location at least 3 days per week
- Experience operating effectively within a complex matrixed organizational structure
- Proven track record of evaluating talent and differentiating performance, as well as providing clear, actionable, and well-rounded feedback
