We are seeking a skilled Software Developer in Test to join our IBM Software team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing, testing and maintaining high-quality software products, working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.

As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional software experiences. Your responsibilities will encompass the design and implementation of innovative features, fine-tuning and sustaining existing code for optimal performance, and guaranteeing top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you’ll be working closely with fellow developers, designers, and product managers to ensure our software aligns seamlessly with user expectations.

Software Development Expertise:

  • Strong background in software development/testing, demonstrating expertise in programming languages such as Java.

Cloud Technology Proficiency:

  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, showcasing familiarity with modern cloud ecosystems and tools.

Excellent Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Demonstrated excellence in problem-solving and debugging, with the ability to tackle complex issues and find effective solutions.

Software Testing Expertise:

  • Demonstrated excellence in developing comprehensive test plans and executing test cases to ensure software products meet quality standards and requirements.

Automation Integration:

  • Experience with Implementing and integrating test automation into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency. 
Zaželeno strokovno in tehnično znanje
  • Proficiency with Java, including Java EE/Jakarta EE experience, or experience with a similar framework, like Spring. Knowledge of JUnit, Maven, Git, Jenkins, and other commonly used Java libraries, including knowledge of Java internals.
  • Familiarity with cloud and container technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, etc.
  • Groovy, Python, and scripting in Linux, and Unix environments, Windows PS will also be useful.
