The RTR Senior Analyst/Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Regional RTR Lead by ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial reporting processes. Acting as a tactical business partner to the RTR organization, this role involves executing financial close activities, managing reconciliations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving process improvements.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, technologically adept Senior Financial Analyst/Manager to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various critical financial tasks, including but not limited to:
- Signing off on the responsibility matrix and validating approvals.
- Inputting and approving lease details in Lease Accelerator (LA).
- Reviewing and approving journal entries, validating lease-related data.
- Loading foreign exchange (FX) rates and validating exception calculations.
- Reviewing financial reports and approving recurring recharges.
- Defining and implementing intercompany reconciliation policies.
- Preparing and submitting fixed asset (FA) requests.
- Reviewing, approving, and adjusting financial statements and statutory balances.
- Applying true-ups and local GAAP adjustments.
- Performing sub-consolidation adjustments and collecting input data for reports.
- Coordinating tax reporting, monitoring changes in tax laws, and resolving queries.
- Supporting audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
- Utilizing automation tools to streamline financial reporting.
- Identifying process inefficiencies and recommending improvements.
- Communicating key financial insights and risk mitigation strategies.
Experience in GAAP, IFRS and local statutory reporting
Expertise in lease accounting (Lease Accelerator, IFRS 16, validation of RoU assets)
Knowledge of financial consolidation, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations
Strong ERP knowledge
Knowledge of tax regulations, treatment of exceptions and currency validation
Experience in subconsolidations and intercompany reconciliations.
Identification of discrepancies and root causes.
Financial Accounting:
- Input lease information into Lease Accelerator and facilitate approval process.
- Validate and approve lease information entered into the system.
- Perform sanity checks on Right of Use (RoU) assets and corresponding lease liabilities.
- Review and approve journal entries.
- Load and validate foreign exchange (FX) rates.
- Confirm accuracy of exception calculations.
Close & Consolidation:
- Initiate the opening process for the current period.
- Certify completion of assigned tasks.
- Provide necessary adjustment entries.
- Review financials and render approval.
Local Tax & Statutory Reporting:
- Distribute statutory reporting schedules.
- Extract statutory trial balances and requisite support documentation.
- Implement true-up adjustments (eliminate prior year amounts and post to current year).
