We are seeking an energetic, innovative and experienced product marketing champion to join IBM's Software marketing team, focusing on watsonx.data. As a Product Marketer, you will be responsible for creating and articulating the point of view of audiences we serve and creating the value proposition for data to grow IBM’s market share, supporting revenue growth for products that are core to IBM. You will drive cross-IBM campaigns and product-level marketing and communications efforts to support pipeline generation and new client acquisition for the solution. The role includes deep collaboration with teams across geographies, including Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Clients and Business Partners.
In the role, you will drive the outcome of connecting differentiated POVs for watsonx.data as a leading solution for AI-ready data with the right buyers and experts, measured by new signings, retention rates, average customer value, absolute and trend NPS, market segment share, win loss rate, analyst ranking, and social influence.
• Act as a market catalyst for watsonx.data, providing guiding views on key challenges in data management and bringing AI-ready data to gen AI, competitive positioning, and differentiators— all backed by data driven insights.
• Develop product positioning, go-to-market opportunities, and distinctive competencies that uniquely differentiate watsonx.data and drives client engagements and growth in the Data for AI space.
• Create strategic messaging, and leadership proof points to improve the IBM’s market position in Data for AI.
• Translate deeply technical concepts into marketing messages and compelling stories that influence analysts, customers, and partners towards IBM’s offerings.
• Act as the launch linchpin that galvanizes internal support across all channels and drives demand for the offerings.
• Lead and drive client, and business partner engagements in the field, digitally and at events.
- 7+ years experience in Product or B2B Marketing.
- Ability to create client-centric messaging, targeting buyer pain points with differentiated value propositions.
- Ability to critically craft and shape client journeys and customer experiences, throughout the marketing funnel.
- Experience creating marketing business plans.
- Ability to engage product managers and architects to translate technology into compelling marketing message.
- Ability to deliver technical content like product demos.
- Market understanding of Data and AI technologies.
- Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies in generative AI.
