This role is for a Platform Engineer on the Mobile@IBM Team who will be responsible for the management, configuration, and maintenance of our Mobilel Device Management platform. This internal role is reponsible for supporting iOS and Android devices across the enterprise, ensuring seamless device enrollment, policy enforcement, and system integrations. It is expected that in this role, Platform Engineers stay informed about technology trends as it relates to the industry, including but not limited to beta features and operating system changes that can impact long term deployment strategies. This position will require collaboration with IT Support on trending issues,  vendors for feature requests and filing bugs, mobile developement teams, and cybersecurity teams to provide a modern, robust, scalable, and secure MDM infrastructure that meets business requirements.

Experiência Profissional e Técnica Requerida

Experience eith MDM platforms (Jamf, MaaS630)
Strong expertise of iOS and Android operating sustems including enrollment protocols
Solid understanding of managing device security policies, app configurations, and compliance rules for large-scale deployments
Familiarity with cloud platforms
Problem solving and debugging skills
Communication and collaboration skills
Experience with enterprise app distribution tools including Apple Business Manager and Google Play Enterprise
Knowledge of certificate management including SCEP, PKI, and provisioning profiles
Profeciency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash)
Understanding of identity management and integrations with SSO/IdP solutions
Experience with mobile security practices is a plus, including encryption, data loss prevention, and zero-trust frameworks
