We're seeking an experienced Technical Engineer to join our Customer-Facing Team, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our customers planning or utilizing business automation solutions build using IBM Business Automation products that harness the power of AI. As a Technical Engineer, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy products that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and maintain technical documentation for business automation
solutions, including product best practices and implementation guides.
* Collaborate with the Product Development Team to design and implement
AI-powered features and functionalities in our products.
* Work closely with the Customer Success Team to understand customer pain points, provide technical guidance, and ensure seamless onboarding and support of our products.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including
customers, partners, and internal teams.
* Identify opportunities for product improvement and technical optimization through data analysis and feedback from customers and internal sources.
* Host technical enablement events and focused workshops, both face-to-face and virtual, aimed at enabling business partners and customers expose the value of IBM Business Automation products and solutions to our customers’ business.
**Requirements:**
* Experience with business automation platforms, such as workflow engines,
integration tools, or orchestration software.
* Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, including IBM, AWS, Azure, or
Google Cloud Platform.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically
and creatively.
* Strong presentation skills with ability to present complex technical
concepts to c-suite and technical engineers alike
* Strong expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g. Python,
Java, JavaScript)
* Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design
patterns.
**Preferred Expertise:**
* Experience with IBM Business Automation software (e.g. Business Automation Workflow, Automation Decision Services, Enterprise Content Management) and orchestration tools (e.g. watsonx Orchestrate)
* Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker) and orchestration tools
(e.g. RedHat Openshift or Kubernetes).
* Experience in AI, Machine Learning, or related fields
